We admit it, our name is a little unusual.

Our founder, Mark Hamill, landed on it after being inspired by the author, David Taylor, who wrote "The Naked Leader."

David Taylor is known as the "Naked Leader" thanks to his ability to strip away uncertainty and doubt, and show that we already have everything we need to be successful. In response, Mark created The Naked Headhunter to fill a gap he saw in the market. He wanted to bring a fresh, agile and caring approach to a world that is often tied into old-school networks.

We have built a business dedicated to serving family-owned and operated businesses, and owners and founders, who need a knowledgeable, expert executive search firm to fill their crucial leadership roles.

We believe in building long-lasting relationships versus treating each engagement as a one-off transactional approach, and are proud of our 100% placement rate.

Mark has been involved in executive search since 1999. During his career he has placed over 500 executives and he works across all practice groups. Mark began his career at Heineken; serving the company in a variety of commercial roles both in Ireland and in Central Europe. In 1999, he himself was “headhunted” for a job in the executive search sector and has never looked back.
